Introducing Mr. Vena

Mr. Vena is our esteemed Student teacher for the Spring semester of 2008.

He comes highly recommended from Temple University and is earning a BS in Art Education with a focus in drawing and painting. He hails from Western PA (Johnstown) and currently lives in Philadelphia.

When Mr. Vena is not teaching he enjoys making his own artwork, playing guitar and playing with his Dog "Versailles" a french bull dog.

Current Events

"AGLOW", Saturday, February 9, 6-9 pm.

An intimate, candlelit evening, featuring the luminaries of Philadelphia ceramicist Lauren Ingalls. The artist will be on hand to share how she creates these intricately hand-carved stoneware lanterns.

All proceeds to help the Bender family offset the mounting bills resulting from a lengthy battle with cancer.

There will be a raffle/auction of artwork, photos, crafts, etc. (if you are interested in donating please let me know).

Also there will be a clothing donation bin, some stuff will be taken to buffalo exchange (proceeds go to Paul Bender) and the rest will be given to Circle Thrift! I know it's cold outside, but it's time for spring cleaning!
